1. If your door opens and does not close, check alignment of safety sensors
2. If your door only opens 6-24", check your springs above the door to ensure they are intact (if broken there will be a 3" separation in the coils). If springs look good then disconnect the door from the motor (ensuring all is clear) and attempt to raise manually. If manual operation is successful then there is an issue with your motor force. If the door is still heavy there may be a need for professional adjustment
3. If your door is loud or ratcheting then the rollers (wheels) may be bad, have repaired before additional damage is done to other moving parts​​
